History of CBA Secret Santa Ministry:
Wanda Oliver served the Secret Santa Team since its beginning in 1985.  She along with other women in the community met and served out of many different locations over the years.  That year, with permission from then DOM Mike Willliams, Secret Santa began their ministry out of Chattahoochee Baptist Association.  Wanda Oliver and Joyce Patrick Co-Chaired the directorship position of the Secret Santa and served along side many caring and supportive volunteers.  The team is grateful to individuals, churches and businesses that have been such a blessing to children and families for over 32 years.  Upon the retirement of these two ladies, we want to say thank you for all the many hours you have spent planning, shopping and leading out in this ministry.  You will be missed!

2019 Christmas Hope
Dear Friends,
Thank you for your past support of the Chattahoochee Baptist Association’s Secret Santa Ministry.  As we plan for the 2019 Christmas season in Northeast Georgia, we would like to update you on this important community outreach opportunity and ask that you continue being a partner with us for Christmas Hope.

The Secret Santa ministry served our community for more than 30 years.  Wanda Oliver and Joyce Patrick who served thousands of children and families in our community through the years made the decision to retire last year.  Their passion and dedication, which we experience first-hand as sponsors in our own church (Corinth Baptist Church) through the years, inspired us to continue the mission of providing the gift of hope for Gainesville-Hall County.  The name has changed from Secret Santa to Christmas Hope, but the mission remains the same!

We ask you to pray about how you can participate in Christmas Hope in 2019.

Volunteers, sponsors, and donors are all needed to support Christmas Hope in order for the ministry to provide Christmas gifts for each famliy who applies and meets the eligibility criteria.  Sponsors commit to purchasing new gift items for specific children.  Volunteers are needed to serve as greeters, counselors, and admin in the application process as well as, helping to sort and organize gifts.  Donors can support the ministry by sending a monetary tax-deductible donation or donating new gift items for children.  We look forward to serving with you in 2019 and hearing back from you before August 15, 2019.  Enclosed you will find additional information about application process and sponsoring.

God Bless You,
Laura Haynes & Kimberly Souther
