Like all churches, Chicopee BC’s “normal” ministries were disrupted by the pandemic last year. But that didn’t stop them from helping sister churches. As so many were scrambling to connect with their members online, pastor Clyde Self invited Javier Chavez (pastor of Amistad Cristiana) to “borrow” their technology setup each week. More recently, Chicopee opened their older sanctuary up on Sunday AM’s to Pastor Alex Gailey & Sola City Church. Thankful to watch God’s churches work together to grow the Kingdom!
CBA held its first-ever online/in-person fall meeting last night. Christ Place, Southside, & Concord all hosted simultaneously, with “live” program segments being live-streamed & broadcast to other campuses. The theme was “Turning Point” – how CBA’s churches can use COVID19 as a springboard to evaluate ministry, sharpen their focus, & prepare for the future. Multiply Church (Robby Williams, pastor) was welcomed as a new CBA congregation. We also celebrated the launch (that same morning) of Southside Church’s new Commerce campus!
